Book banning has drastically increased within the last few years. There have been nearly 10,000 instances where books have been banned across the United States, and this is just within the last four years, according to PEN America, a nonprofit dedicated to protecting free expression.
Through the perspectives of two high school English teachers, a college-level honors program student, and a college professor, we will explore how book banning has changed interactions in the classroom and curriculum.
